From May 2021 to March 2023, young people and youth organizations from Bulgaria, Spain, Germany, the Netherlands, Slovenia, Italy, Montenegro, and Cyprus participated in sharing their visions for a greener Europe that supports and believes in the European Union and its values.

Project Summary

The project ““DEAL4EU: Youth Ambassadors for European Green Deal” financed by the Europe for Citizens Programme.

DEAL4EU is a network of 8 different European towns that will promote 🌳GREEN values 🌳, objectives and policies among youngsters in order to make them Green ambassadors in their own home territories.

DEAL4EU targets to improve awareness about environmental and climatic issues. The aim is to improve our knowledge about the role of the EU citizens in the Green initiative, create synergies among EU territories and citizens to protect, conserve and enhance Europe’s natural capital, protect the health and well-being of all EU citizens.

Project Activities

– 8 thematic international meetings in 8 different countries;

– high-level education on the topic by professionals: the participants – young activists, will meet and work with experts (i.e. academic professors, blogger, journalists, etc.) and European ambassadors of Green strategies in their hometowns;

– making a huge impact for our better future: exploration and promotion of Green strategies through strong dissemination activities, meeting more than 400 people in person and reaching 20,000 people indirectly.
